Pray for our Minister Dr. Cecil Grant, his wife Emma, and children Lucy and Mark, that the Lord will bless and guide them in the months ahead as they settle in.

PRAYER DIARY
July Tuesday 1st – Pray for the young people who have just recently completed their exams, that they have a restful summer and that any nerves about results will be calmed.
Wednesday 2nd – Thank God for time off in the summer to relax and rest. Remember all those travelling abroad for holidays, pray that God will be with them and keep them safe during this time of rest.
Thursday 3rd – Pray for Gemma Russell and Matthew Preece as they serve God in Newry on a PCI team. Pray for all the young people who attend the events being held in Newry.
Friday 4th – Remember all the staff that continue to keep the Church running on a daily basis. Pray for May, Jack and Jim and thank God for all their hard work.
Saturday 5th – Pray for our Kirk Session as they seek to give us leadership. Give them insight for the decisions they have to make.
Sunday 6th - Pray for our Youth Service tonight, remember Stuart Hawthorne as he speaks to us tonight. Pray that it challenges both the young people and wider congregation.
Monday 7th – Thank God for all the leaders and helpers involved in the Holiday Bible Club this year. Pray that God will be with them this week as they make final preparation for this important week of outreach starting on 14th July.
Tuesday 8th – Remember today Neil, Tom, Terry and Jim as they serve God in Nigeria. Pray for their safety so that they may carry out God’s work effectively and demonstrate His love to the people they meet.
Wednesday 9th – Remember our Minister during this time of rest on holiday. Pray for Cecil, Emma, Lucy and Mark that they will be safe as they relax together as a family.
Thursday 10th – Pray for the elderly, sick and house bound. Remember those who are in hospital and those awaiting test results. Pray that they will know God’s presence at this time.
Friday 11th – We remember our country today. We pray for God’s peace to cover our province and pray for protection upon all the members of the security forces as they seek to carry out their duties.
Saturday 12th – Let us pray for our political leaders and town councillors. Pray that our Christian leaders will influence the lives of those around them and help them demonstrate all the fruits of the spirit.
Sunday 13th – Remember our music ministry in your prayers today. Thank God for Anita and all those involved in this ministry. Pray for guidance for Anita as she prepares and carries out this important aspect of our worship.
Monday 14th – Today is the first day of Landlubbers, our Holiday Bible Club. Pray that God will be preparing the hearts and minds of all the children that will attend this week.
Tuesday 15th – Remember today all those involved in preparing the praise, craft, teaching, drama, games and all aspects of Landlubbers.
Wednesday 16th – Thank God for all the parents who are so willing to send their children to Landlubbers.
Thursday 17th – Remember Billy and Linda Abwa. Pray that God will provide them with strength to carry out His work with the orphans and local churches in Nigeria.
Friday 18th – Remember the Landlubbers leaders and helpers today as this has been a very busy week. Pray that God will renew their strength for the final day ahead.
Saturday 19th – Praise for God for everything that has happening in our Church buildings this week. Pray for all the children that attended this week and heard God’s word in a creative format. Pray for all the preparations for the Holiday Bible Club service tomorrow.
Sunday 20th – Remember the leaders, helpers, parents and the children involved in Landlubbers, our Holiday Bible Club. Pray today for our Holiday Bible Club service.
Monday 21st – The Youth Fellowship trip to New Horizon in Coleraine takes place this week. Pray for safety, fun and fellowship among our young people who attend.
Tuesday 22nd – Pray for Ruth McIlwaine, Jayne McFadden and Jonny Neale as they serve on teams at New Horizon. Be with them as they interact with children and young people, and demonstrate their faith in a practical way during this week.
Wednesday 23rd - Neil, Tom, Terry and Jim return from Nigeria today. Pray for their safety as they travel home. Thank God for all that has been done on this team during the past three weeks.
Thursday 24th - “Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” Colossians 4:2. Take time today to thank God for all that he has done in your life.
Friday 25th - Praise God for all that happened at New Horizon this week. Pray for all those who have attended, and pray that God would continue to work in their lives as they leave this event. Pray for safety as the Youth Fellowship travels home tonight.
Saturday 26th – Thank God for all the work that has been carried out in the various summer teams in Northern Ireland. Pray for Gemma Russell as she serves this week at Girls Camp in Castlerock.
Sunday 27th – Remember the Sunday Club as it meets during Church today. Pray for Pamela McDowell and all her leaders and helpers as they share God’s word with the younger members of our congregation.
Monday 28th - Thank God for our young people. Praise God for all the work that has been carried out over the past year within the Youth Ministry. Pray for the leaders as they prepare for “Live It Out”, this year’s Summer Mission. The theme is looking at the book of James and teaching the young people how to live out their faith.
Tuesday 29th – Pray for Liz Warnock as she now serves full time in her probationary year as deaconess in Ballyclare Presbyterian. Also remember her as she prepares to go to Ukraine in August. Pray for opportunities to share the gospel and team unity of purpose.
Wednesday 30th – Continue to pray for our new moderator, Rev. Dr. Donald Patton. Pray that he will feel God’s power and boldness in all that he does.
Thursday 31st – “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. Thank God for our children. Thank God for all the work that has been carried out over the past year by the Children’s Ministry team. Pray for the leaders as they prepare for another year of activities.
